The first thing to consider when designing a wooden window for your project is what style will best suit your project requirements. At GB Joinery, we manufacture and supply three different wooden window styles.

  • Stormproof windowsweather resistant wooden windows for the best in protection against the elements
  • Flush casement windowssleek flush design that creates a uniform appearance to any property exterior
  • Sliding sash windowswide opening classic sliding design perfect for period property renovations

Each of our window styles are fully customisable and can incorporate a range of bespoke features and designs to match your project specifications.

Timber options for your wooden windows

At GB Joinery, we use both sustainably sourced hardwood and Accoya, a modified fast-growing timber, to manufacture our wooden windows. Both options enable us to create some of the highest performing and most aesthetically attractive timber windows available today.

Our hardwood option is African Sapele hardwood. This responsibly sourced hardwood provides excellent levels of strength and protection while creating an attractive visual appearance to your wooden windows.

As an alternative to hardwood windows, our Accoya windows are manufactured from European Redwood softwood which is engineered to improve its characteristics. Accoya wood goes through a process of acetylation to improve its durability. It is an excellent material that perfectly combines style and performance and is manufactured using timber from FSC certified forests.
